I’m a writer in New York. I’ve done stuff for ABC World News, Slate, The Daily Beast, The Atlantic, The New Inquiry, n+1, Complex, Kill Screen, Billboard, IGN, Paste, Bookforum, The Believer, The Faster Times, Edge, The Millions, Nerve, B&N Review, Hazlitt Fanzine, Gamasutra, The Monarch Review and others. I’m also author of the Levitate the Primate: Handjobs, Internet Dating, and Other Issues for Men.
I used to work in movies, assisting the producer on Donnie Darko and Brokedown Palace. I’ve directed two short films, written some screenplays, and I did Peace Corps twice, in China and Madagascar.
