I’m a writer in New York. I’ve done stuff for ABC World News, Slate, The Daily Beast, The New Inquiry, n+1, Kill Screen, Billboard, IGN, Paste, Bookforum, The Believer, The Faster Times, Edge, The Millions, Nerve, B&N Review, Fanzine, Gamasutra and others. I’ve written about videogames, sex, animals, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, music, books, male lactation, poetry, poverty, transgendered people, and Four Loko. I also wrote “one of the best stories on toenail painting” ever written.
I used to work in movies, assisting the producer on Donnie Darko and Brokedown Palace. I’ve directed two short films, written some screenplays, and I did Peace Corps twice, in China and Madagascar.
